Mukalla Iron and Steel Company owns the largest iron and steel plant in Yemen with an installed capacity of 150 thousand tons of steel billets and 350 thousand tons of re-bars and merchant bars per annum.

The plant is designed according to the state-of the-art technology in steel plant machinery, equipment and automation solutions, and is unique of its type in Yemen and many other Middle Eastern countries.
